Which phones are cashback-eligible?
Most of the phones on our website are eligible. However, they must be purchased with a new service plan and contract with the carrier. They must also be ordered through any of the following merchants on our site: Phonezip, Wirefly, A1Wireless.com, and Cellularchoices.net.

Which phones are NOT cashback-eligible?
The Iphone is not eligible. Prepaid, no-contract/no-credit-check phones, and phone-without-plan purchases are not eligible either (this includes AT&T GoPhone, TracFone, T-Mobile FlexPay).

Can I get cashback on free phones too?
Yes. Even phones that are free are eligible for cashback. This is possible because free phones require a contract and credit approval with the wireless company. Phonezip gets paid for referring great customers that fit this requirement, like you, to the wireless company. In turn, Phonezip shares a portion of our earnings with you in the form of cashback.

How much cashback can I get on my purchase?
You can earn up to $20 cashback on a single order. Study the table below to see exactly how much cashback you can get:

Credit approval is required on all cell phone orders that qualify for cashback. Orders through AT&T (wireless.att.com) do not earn cashback (this includes iPhone). Cashback is paid per order, not per phone.

How do I make sure I get cashback on my purchase?
(1) Create a free account with Phonezip or Login to your existing account at: http://www.phonezip.com/signin. (2)Make sure you are logged in correctly by looking for your email address in the upper right portion of the site. Start shopping on our site and look for the phones that have gold dollar bills associated with them. Those phones are eligible for cashback. Click the "Buy" or "Shop & Compare" buttons for the phone you want and place your order with the merchant that comes up. If you've done these steps and have not disabled browser cookies, then your order will be cashback-eligible.

Is there a limit on how much cashback I can get?
Yes. You may earn up to $100 in a given calendar month. Most people do not place more than 1 or 2 orders for wireless products in a given month and never reach the cashback limit.

When will I receive my cashback check?
Cashback on eligible-phone purchases are normally mailed 45-60 days after the Shipped Date on your purchase receipt. It may take longer if you returned your phone and exchanged it for another one.

If I order using a toll-free number do I get cashback?
No. You must order online for our cashback tracking system to work.

If I buy 2 phones in one order, do I get twice the cashback?
No. Cashback is paid once on the entire order. For example, if you get 2 phones with a family plan, you earn one cashback payout. However, if you place 2 different orders (say, for yourself and another member of your household), you earn two cashback payouts because it is two different orders.

Can I get cashback on the Apple iPhone?
No. The iPhone is only available through our links to the AT&T website (wireless.att.com) and therefore is not eligible for cashback.

Can I get cashback if I go directly to the merchant's website and place an order?
No. You must login to Phonezip and access the merchant's website by clicking through our "Buy Now" or "Shop & Compare" links and buttons.

Do I have to create a Phonezip account before I buy a phone?
Yes. You must create a Phonezip account and sign-in before buying a phone through our featured merchant's websites. Creating a Phonezip account is free and usually takes about 30 seconds to complete.

Will I get cashback if I block cookies in my browser?
No. Our system relies on browser cookies to identify a phone purchase as belonging to your Phonezip account. If you configure your browser to block or limit cookies, you forfeit cashback earnings.

Do I get cashback if I return my phone?
No. Cashback will not be paid on returned orders.

Do I get cashback if I return my phone and exchange it for a different one?
If you are just exchanging your phone for a different model and make no changes to your plan, then yes. However, if you exchange to a non-eligible product (ie., if you return a contract-based phone and exchange it for a no-contract phone, etc) then you forfeit cashback earned on your original order.

If my phone doesn't ship because of a deposit requirement by the carrier, do I still earn cashback?
No. You only earn cashback when your phone ships. If the wireless carrier requires a deposit and you decide to pay the deposit, then your phone will ship and you will earn cashback.

If I am offered an alternate phone after I place my order due to a high deposit, will I earn cashback on this alternate offer?
If the alternate offer is for a different wireless carrier that has approved you without a deposit for a contract-based phone, then yes, you will still earn cashback. Alternate offers for T-Mobile FlexPay, AT&T GoPhone, or any other no-contract/no-credit-check type of product do not earn cashback savings.
